I think I would have taken the trailer out the gate and down some ghetto street and dropped the skirts on the side of the road and returned.

Ft. Campbell, KY. Got a pplan late this afternoon getting me half way home on Tuesday. Albany, GA to Houston, TX. Two stops and the kind that I totally hate. Sams club and the first one at 0100 and the second one 0330. Hate these because have to start my clock early and the chance of getting another one around 6 or 7 is going to be hard. See me getting home late again or very late on Wednesday to El Paso. Hoping that I can park for a 10 at the Sams Club. I am going to have to look at map quest and see how many miles between stops that I am not going to get paid for.

Doing a 10 on an I-20E on-ramp outside of Marshall TX after popping out of the woods heading north on TX-43. Had a 1 minute HOS violation on my 14 when I popped the brakes. Not losing sleep over that.
Today was pretty much a total waste thanks to Swifts ineffectual apathetic useless support bureaucracy. I ended losing my load from Port Arthur to Memphis and the sweet load behind it to Shelby NC.
All because some tool couldn't insert three simple words in the ppln "NO SKIRTED TRAILERS". No one ever did find me a trailer without a skirt in east TX. Unbelievable!!
After I lost my 2 loads they threw me a POS heavy Wally World from Baytown to Bentonville AR. Almost 600 miles of mostly backwater secondary roads and the steep hills of western Arkansas. There is no easy way to get there.
After I did my Lcall my DM sends me a mssg to "watch for a sweet load next". As if.. -
Sitting in at the flying hook south of Toledo waiting for our live load at coke in Bolling Green, OH.
The wife and I have decided to sock away half of whatever paychecks we get until we have 10k+ saved, then we're out. Out of swift, and likely out of trucking. I have come to the sad realization that trucking is no longer a place where there are good possibilities. I know that there are those of you that think I'm wrong. But the reality is that you're just waiting for your turn to be burned.
We had a plan, we worked our plan but Swift isn't interested in helping owners anymore. They're just interested in raking in as much slop as they can and I'm too #### old to wait for them and the rest of the trucking world to figure out that they're rectally impacted with their empty craniums.
Sad thing is they would only have to actually listen to what we're all saying. And I guess that the saddest thing of all is that they don't have to.HousTank, Cromwell and scottied67 Thank this. -

Doing a LONG break at an Indie a couple miles south of Bentonville AR thanks again to Swift.
Busted my ### getting this crappy Walton load up to Bentonville from Baytown TX and got it there an hour early so I could roll on something else. I should know better by now considering how loads and miles continue to deteriorate at Swift.
Every time I checked Mac30 on the way it was nothing but ####, as usual. Dropped, snagged a new 16-Series trailer and did my Ecall. Not 30 seconds later planners hang a heavy POS load around my neck with too much time to p/u and too much time to deliver going to Chicago (again for the 4th time in 2 weeks). I'm so tired of dealing with the traffic in that City!! I now have to sit and wait 27 ####ing hours to p/u and doesn't deliver till Monday afternoon. A whole 560 miles. I just sat 22 hrs in Cleveland 4 days ago, 21 hrs yesterday in Beaumont and now ANOTHER 27 on this load. I've lost more money sitting this week then I'll make running. I'm livid and sick of this!!
Yesterday my DM said I'd get a sweet load next to make up for Swifts apathetic BS in Beaumont. This AIN'T a ####### sweet load!!!!
Just a turd that's not even wrapped in bacon!!! -
