What do you mean that they aren't doing service work there?

Was told to call breakdown and arrange to get B-service at the Petro. I asked the mechanic if he would "look it over" when he changed the tire and he said no. I get the feeling they aren't happy here either,

    Wild Murphy Thanks this.

I just talked to the mechanic again. He did look at my truck and is actually working on more then I asked. Kind of nice to find someone who actually cares about what they're doing. I'll still have to go somewhere else for the "B" but I'm no longer kicking myself for coming here.

According to my Android calender it was July 4th...I don't take the word of some Apple-ized simulated digital woman.

I passed my yearly review on the first try,
I gave up my haz mat endorsement, but still had to "listen" to the 30 minute hazmat video, plus the blood born pathogen nonsense.
I took the test at Marietta, and they have the computer in the lobby, I unplugged the headphones so everyone could hear it, and then talked thru it all.
    But I Passed.
Miles and loads are super great, as I'm on the special secret load board to get my miles up, as Crete Wants a 9,5?? Mile per month minimum, but if you take their minimum and times it by 12, it's 8 miles below the 15,000 required for the raise. So, ideally they should say, "you didn't run enough miles for a raise" or "you didn't run enough miles for us to allow you to work here" or " WOW, you're in the 8 mile zone and Um, whatever" Tell me the water in Lincoln doesn't contain mercury or lead.

Plus I'm due home next week and now I have to take into account when the Princess will be menstrating, ugh, I need an app to tell me when to take off

I've been at Crete for almost 7 years, and have easily had the miles to get the raise every year. I think my worst year was still 124,000 miles. On the B service deal, I think some shops do more of the trade/new truck prep, so the shops only handle dot issues and send out the B service to outside sources to save them time.

Happy to go elsewhere rather than wait days for service, but if I had known I would have had service done before I came here. Just wishing for better two way communication I guess.

In my almost 10 years there I surpassed the required miles less than half of that, however 1 of those years that I missed was when I had to take 2 months off with a non-job related injury(according to Crete) that happened on the job...and I tried every angle to get better miles short of bribery or assault. Had it not been for that driver killing those kids in FL (after which we all got a raise) I would have been stuck about the middle of the pay rate chart
