Arkansas is exactly right. Poly will reimburse toll receipts, but mail in stuff like this, with fines, sorry...no dice, driver f'up, driver payup. Just like Crete making the drivers pay for overweight tickets that could have been avoided by checking at a CAT Scale.

And BTW, I am in no way blaming the company...I did it, I'll pay it...but...next time I go around, even if it's waaaaaay out of route and on a higher priced road, as long as they have a person in the booth. They claim they don't have EzPass because they don't want to release financial info, but I am not sure how much info they need to set up an EzPass account...and it would save them moolah...EzPass/ILpass users pay just over half of what cash customers pay. As tight as they are about spending, I don't see why they don't set up a separate account in Poly Trucking's name, that way only the trucking division is exposed and the corporation's financials are secure.

I got one last week from June, do to a wrong turn in Miami taking me on the toll road. It was $13 and change but poly gave it to me after the due date. Oh well so I call the number and it was already paid. Lucky me or didn't notice a check $13 short lol.

Illinois rates for trucks, cash and ipass same rate, no discount. The 50% discount only applies to cars.

Indiana rate for trucks, ezpass, has a surcharge above the normal cash rate, it is only pennies but that adds up.

PA, 30% discount for using ezpass.

Not everyone at poly is miserable. If one guy hates where he works , he's gonna
make the place sound like there is no company worse. This is a joke leave if you hate it that much. Poly isn't a bad place to work , bank on it if you spend every day spitting on them they'll likely spend every day giving you more reason to. Sheesh

Right on about poly. But some guys want to convince everyone that no one can be happy here. THERE'S NO PERFECT COMPANY. Best you can do is find what fits best for you , then make it better by getting along.

And that is fine for you , same here. Seems in this industry of unskilled trade
If you have to make 70k+ per year, you'll often be upset. When I was at new century guys quit because their pay went from 74 to 70k the following yr.
There is reality and there is unreal expectations. What I don't get is if one has to make 75k a yr. Why not own a truck , then you can be policy maker.

Wrong about the rumor room. Someone is talking to talk. It's a negotiating process between poly and the broker and sometimes the customer meets our offer , other time they don't meaning we wait . This is why they'll dead head 1200 miles for a load over pulling dirt cheap frt.

I'm not a graveyard type guy, but lately been mixing it up a lot. I don't feel I need to cover every bridge deck good or bad.
    Short story , annually I'm about 50 a yr.
Which is fine for me , but I contribute 6% 401k also. I only work like 25 of every 32 days. It's simple I'm happy inside my skin, money isn't everything with me. You find your fit and make it better by getting along. I have no problem with the miles. Then again I try to be friendly to poly.
