No kidding, I'm doing just fine. Happy as I've ever been. Granted I'm new and anything is better than the peanuts I was working for before, but I'm loving it. That being said, I did seem to be doing better april-june than in July, but I too was trying out a few things and trying to tweek the system to me. I think I may go back and see if August comes back up.

No doubt... Flat is where it's at, and it's not even close.

Yes sir I am in Alabama. Right on I-20 about 60 miles east of Birmingham. I know it's not the "real thing" but I got on the mercertown website and clicked the "find a load" tab and looked at the list of loads on there. There were quite a few less than 50 miles from me. Some were 10 miles from me. Seems like a good area to get out. Getting back, however, didn't seem as easy. Last night I put it on destination state Alabama and there were zero loads. Granted, as I said, I know that's not ALL of the loads that Mercer has.

I live 15 minutes from the GA line, 2 hours from TN, and 2 hours from Tuscaloosa. As long as I could get close that would be fine with me.

You'll still be alright because you could pre book and go home as much as you want because you'll get a good load heading out. You prob could do out and backs where you live

Buddy of mine lives in the Gadsden area. He has no problems getting out for fair money, and most of the time doesn't have too much problem getting back. He's been there bout a year now. Nother friend lives down by Gulf Shores, no problems for him either.
