You can also Google the manual and likely download it for free. I have the T680, the KIMS, and the TriPac service manuals on both my phone and computer.

Ummmm how can u prebook when you go by positioning... And that Van guy isn't telling the whole story.. The rates aren't as high and you'll sit between loads no matter what because there are so many guys on the Van side that have Quality trucks who will take anything to get that payment paid everyweek. So if u end up position 4 and up you'll sit for a day or take some be to get moving... The customer base for flats is waaaaaay more extensive then vans... Flatbeds can prebook cause u guys have the freight to... Because I can commit to a load right now and chances are high that I won't get it by the morning...I came from a place where you had to prebook or you didn't run so I know all about prebooking.. I'm a master at it... It's not that simple here

Hi folks are any of the Canadian Mercer guys on here. Im looking for some thoughts on flat and eastern. Canada by the way you all sound like good people overall Mercer is impressive from my point of view

I strongly suggest you just try something different. If others manage to prebook and keep rolling I'm sure you can too. -
Ontario you have Kingston, Whitby, cambridge, those are pretty steady . Its steel, auto parts and you will have to be able to scale 46 to 48 k . Lot's of short stuff with a couple of long ones . longest get snapped up pretty quick.east coast Thanks this. -
Maybe I missed this before but is there any negotiation on rates if its just a little less then you'd do it for, can you ask for more?

Not to beat a dead horse but looking at the board there is 3-6x as many van loads as there are flats in the next three states I'm loading in, so how can there not be enough loads on the board to prebook? Everytime I look at the van loads I think about switching over. Rates run a little less then flats but not much.
