Some Western Stars do too. Just like some Petes do. You just have to look around a little. I think the practical reason is that they let heat in in the summer and cold in in the winter. I agree that they would be nice sometimes.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Most of the time the sleeper windows are an option. Prostars are built so cheap they can throw that in as a standard feature.
TruckDuo, Straight Stacks, OOwannaBE and 1 other person Thank this. -
The only thing I'd want those windows for is blindside backing. It's just another thing to clean and worry about

Fill us in to the resorts your talking about? Watching the lot lizzards at TA east and West in Ontario isn't considered a resort in my bookSHO-TYME, mp4694330, Straight Stacks and 3 others Thank this.

You should look at Western Star trucks. I have a big glass panel on the passenger side, windows that open on the upper bunk and a nice glass panel above the driver seat.
I guess it is all in how you spec your truck and what you are willing to pay for it.Pumpkin Oval Head, double yellow, TruckDuo and 2 others Thank this. -
Glass is probably cheaper than aluminum/sheet metal.TruckDuo Thanks this.

Lets in a little natural a/c when the engine won't start.
Honestly, I use redneck window shades to block mine off (FYI redneck window shades are pieces of aluminum foil)since the stupid velcro won't hold the factory shades tight against the frames. -
and much easier on the body when you fly thru it..???
