Yeah, I was thinking if they kept putting them on, (especially with WINTER coming on) they were bound to outgrow their freight base. Unless of course a lot of people were quitting.

Better have him call and check. My recruiter called me yesterday afternoon and told me no quality truck leases til after first of year. So I'm looking at going to line mountain for a truck.

Unless of course a lot of people were quitting: No one knows what is going to happen in June when they force ELD on all of the old trucks

By putting a freeze on that it will allow the system to recalibrate as the non hackers are weeded out.

Wonder what's the deal with not putting on quality trucks?

Everyone will have an opinion, mine is that it skews the hiring at an all owner op company, in reality it is unheard of to add that many "owner operators" unless there is a finger on the scales.

It sounds like from what she said a lot where struggling. They are only taking owner ops with own trucks.

Exactly. For instance why does a company who only takes owners with their own equipment not have a massive expansion?? Because the number of owners are finite unless there is outside help to offer a less qualified person the equipment.
