First was pick up at a familiar address.
Where I dropped 14 windows a while back.
I was to take them to the NRG Center loading dock. Said dock is roughly three football fields in length. First lady sends me to one end. After talking to countless people I found out I was supposed to be at the far end. Finally found someone who knew what was what.
So a little over an hour to load. About 1.5 hours at the drop. And none of that time will matter about what I get paid.
Then got an envelope and $50.88 at a place off Navigation and took it to Crosby. Then took the money to the office and ate lunch there.
Then ran all the way up 290 to West Rd. for a 768# pallet that went to SDV.
On the way there I used my last $40 on fuel.
    Got home at 6:30.
    Chicken Enchiladas. Yummy!
The DirecTV is turned off until we can pay them.
Fixin to go get a radio to listen to the Astros.

    165 years ago this summer....

Do you know what happened ~165 years ago this summer....

    September 9, 1850? …...

California became a state! The people had no electricity, the state had no money

and almost everyone spoke Spanish. There were gunfights in the streets.

So basically NOTHING has changed…..except back then the women

had real boobs and the men didn't hold hands.

And that, my friends, is your history lesson for today.

I am sitting at home, as I have done for the last 8 months, following rotator cuff surgery. It really sucks.
