Miles are miles, so other than most reefer loads delivering at all hours of the night, whats the big deal about reefer freight. I always found reefer trailer gave a better ride than a plate van, spring or air ride.

I'm with you, #### the reefer.
It's a lot more hassle for some of us, and it doesn't pay more, yet the Shaffer drivers are living large with their 4 extra cents a mile.
And why can't Crete step up and help out and pay a driver, dare I say it?, a bonus for helping out the company.
And never tell them you're tired. Unless you really are.
If you get stuck on shag freight, where you don't live.
Tell them you're taking off to look for houses in that area to help out Crete, the more they push you to accept the preplan, (don't refuse it) the more you tell them what a great person you are, and what a huge favor you're doing them by moving to that area.
They'll give up and throw a 1,500 mile load at you.

    Sustanon and Astoh Thank this.

That was always one of my pet peeves. Don't make me guess. I'm a professional (or at least that what y'all keep saying we're supposed to be). Trust me to use the information to make the right decisions.

Reefers are not for everyone,i did post about that before. It takes time to get used to the racket,i dont claim to be a super trucker, and for me reefer is a challenge, miles are hard when you have 3hrs sleep.

Hard to get miles when you're detained on the dock for 11+ hours a shot.

From comdata and EFS. Most companies absorb it. Crete will occasionally pass it on and see if the driver notices and will reimburse it if they ask
