$7.50/hour x 14 hours = $127.50 (with OT, time & a half after 8 hours)
500 miles x 37 cpm = $185
Pretty simple math lol
The 37 cpm figure is what my starting wages as a student at swift are.
Even with this example who's gonna work 7 days a week for 14 hours... Other than a driver haha -

If you have 70 take away 10 and add 6 times 2 then how much do you have?

Using Casanova's example of $.37, at 2500 miles a week, I think a more realistic number is $12.88 per hour.
First you are limited to 70 hrs in 8 days, if that is divided by 8 that's 8.75 hrs a day x 7 days = 61.25 hrs,
2500 x .37 = $925 per week
40 hrs at $12.88 = $515.20
21.25 at $19.32 (12.88 x 1.5) = 410.55
Total $925.75
Obviously the numbers change with any variable sucha sa more or.less miles and any accessorial pay, and that is why it really is a futile experiment to tr to determine an exact number.
On the low end, probable $11 - 13 per hour, starting out.pattyj Thanks this. -
