Don't like the mirror mount ones as I don't wanna see all that flashing.

 

Also it really depends on the states you run. Some states allow basic becons. Others required certain flash speeds. Look through the oversized handbook and read on lights and markings. It should help you out. As I run all 50 I had to go with a more expensive solution. But you might be able to use the $80 strobes.

Yeah, I'm very happy as well. I do plan on tweaking my running, just taking this first year to learn as much as possible

Basically I've been experimenting with a few different running styles and techniques to find a nice niche. I've scratched off the tarp/untarp daily method unless it pays a specific rate per mile that I've calculated. And for me shortys only work specific region. I'm still learning though.

The toll for the bridge just eats up to much of the rate.

 

Not trying to give you a hard time, but why not just buy a used one? There are a lot of good flats available for 10k to 12k.
