mercer transportation

I will!, first getting some sleep and I will go in first thing Sunday morning!!

 

Ok been lurking here for a couple weeks now just watching and reading. I have a couple quick questions for y'all...been a company driver for almost 7 years, all dry van experience, do I need flat bed experience prior to applying at mercer, and has anyone have any experience getting a truck thru quality lease?

 

I went to quality and was out in one day! But you have to get a 2016 prostar any other is about a week or two!, I went there on October 15 and now I'm at mercer waiting for orientation on Monday

 

if I'm gonna be waiting on a flat bed anyway, I don't mind the wait for a used truck with a lower payment

 

Ok! Quality had a lot of used trucks! And they get you a nice hotel and they pay for your taxi

Does Mercer have terminals where you can park????

Is there still a big wait time for flatbed trailers purchased/leased through Mercer? I'm about to have a truck bought in the next week and want to get it to work before Christmas. The only other things that concern me are the cost of equipment (chains, binders, headache rack) and what Mercer would qualify as a "year" of experience. I've been with the maroon truck guys out of N Little Rock since beginning of October last year, but didn't go solo until beginning of December. Any answers/help appreciated.

 

Did you apply??? Only they can tell you if your good for experience. It takes as couple of weeks fro them to run you 10+ days.
