Seen too many homeless people living in their cars at night at truckstops all around this great country when walking the dog around the truckstops. I would recommend moving your park spot, maybe vacating during the day to mix it up and not become 'recognizable' to the staff. Research 'Stealth Camping' on youtube as well.
Can you live out of a van at a truck stop?

There has to be a lot of places to park in SoCal... state parks, camp grounds and such for when you need a break from that piss lot.
Now I'm jealous... wish I could pack it up and head out west. Med card and Motorcycle daydreams.truckon Thanks this. -

I suppose it depends on how nice the van looks. I know a guy living in a quarter million dollar motorhome pulling a 30 foot trailer that's brand new and he sleeps in a truck stop because he's too cheap to rent a house and he runs his business out of his trailer. He's been doing this for 6 months and nobody has called him out and asked him to leave.
QUOTE="DriverToBroker, post: 4844586, member: 103395"]I have a question for everyone. Would the truck stop management get upset if somebody spends two weeks or so parked in their parking lot at night? I've spent nights at truck stops before in my personal vehicle to get coffee and shower in the morning but it was only one night at a time. Anyone know how they look at extended stay visitors?[/QUOTE]

In most municipalities it is illegal to sleep in your car van or motorhome on public or private properties, well unless it is a specifically pay for parking type place like a camping park. Look up Stealth Camping on youtube for ideas how to evade the cops.

Are we talking about a common inconspicuous van here or a camper style van?
Do you have carpool parking lots without camera survallience down there?
Or maybe you want the convenience of the truck stop ammenities? -
I wouldn't think truckstops care but it would probably be wise not to park up front.
