I just fill the paper tcheck out like a check and give it to whoever it is for and reply back to the email that I was sent with the info and let her know how much it was for and to cancel the rest.

You'll get a message with the check code + balance sent over peoplenet, usually a day before your delivery, then you fill the check out when the lumpers give you a price. When you're finished reply to that message with the amount used.

Send the lumper receipt(s) in with your paperwork and put the amount used on your trip sheet.

So that check code goes in the express code box on the check, right? It sounds just like the way Crete used to do Comchecks for lumpers. The way they made it sound in orientation, they were actually filling out a check in our office instead of just giving you an authorization number for up to a certain amount.

Just put the express code on the check for the amount for the lumper. Ashley will send you express code day before delivery only use what you need of it. Then reply to her with fb# and tell her to cancel remaining amount. You don't make any phone calls for authorization

You should keep a list of the things that they didn't go over in Orientation that you needed to know. Give it to Mark next time through. Not all the new drivers are lucky enough to have this sites wisdom ;-)
I guess that's an advantage of going out with a trainer....

Gotcha..from what little they said about it in the office made it sound more complicared than it is. Other than the reply message, it works exactly like a comcheck.

Yeah, i had never had to use a comcheck or a tcheck, but i figured it out just fine. Mandy did actually tell us to reply to Ashely's email with the number just to make everyones life a little easier. Then she has everything she needs to know and yall dont need to go back amd forth for it.

Ps. One of these days i will get my shattered glass screen protector replaced and stop all these dang typos lol
