It doesn't get any closer than this. As I was backing into my parking spot to shut down...my 14 hit 0. One more red light or one more break check going thru Nashville and I wouldn't have made it.

 

Just as an FYI one of the things we covered with the trainer - if you get stuck behind an accident for example and your clock expires and you still need to drive to reach a safe haven, make a note in your log book and send Bryce a note. Been there myself when dealing with traffic and trying to be on time for a pick-up.

Just a little FYI to anyone picking up at S. Chicago Packing in Chicago. There is a little crap hole fuel stop right in front of them with a dozen or so parking spots. If they are running behind, that is where they stage you to wait.

Had I known that, I wouldn't have had to split log. I managed to log everything nice and legal, including my drive time to my morning delivery and back...so no worries about abuse of the 'skip' option.

 

I appreciate it...but I have been around the block a few million times. I use to kid Crete's safety by telling them I know more ways to be creative on the logs than they have ways to catch me. You are limited on the time limit for being over, and it has to be a legit reason like a wreck or weather...just being delayed by normal rush hour traffic usually doesn't fly with THE MAN (with the badge and ticket book)

 

Getting off loaded in Raleigh at the ABC were house then a 2 hour drive to the house you all have a good thanksgiving

 

Getting loaded in Pittston PA now... Appt. was for 1600 so I'm golden....
This is one of those places you have to stand near the door and count pieces and pallets going in... Its ####ing freezing in here!!

Does anyone know if Paul is off for the week? And if he is, who should I call about my flight information to orientation? Paul called me last week & said they may have to fly me up on Saturday this week due to the busyness of Thanksgiving travel. I got an autoreply when I emailed him today, and his voicemail when I called.

 

He's out of town for part of the week ,
I am waiting on word from him also

 

Any idea what went wrong with that 2016 that broke down?
