    1. Poly trucks are 100% junk!!!
    2. You can go 2 to 3 weeks without a check. Its all according to how fast you can get back to end your trip. And even then, it has to be by a certain day, or payroll will hold it back.
    3. No showers.
    4. No anything for drivers accept locked doors to keep you out..
    5. No Pre-Pass
    6. They will not pay for you too park. Period!
    7. Shop is 100% dont know what they are doing and for a simple oil change it can cost you 2 to 3 days.
    8. The loaner trucks are more so junk than the truck your assigned.
    9. No break down pay. It happens allot. $5,000.00 lost revenue this year alone, so get ready for it for weeks at a time.
    10. No WiFi.
    11. No Washers/Dryers.
The big picture at Poly is to stay out of there all you can, just try to get in there and get right out ASAP.

If the shop shuts your truck down, you got serious problems no matter how minute the problem is. They If they have 22 truck ahead of you, it can take three days to change a tire..

Most of the people there are pretty good, but you still want to stay out all you can.

Security at check in is unreal.. Not all, but there's this on young guy at night, he is a real work of art.

    No detention pay.

Getting home if you live out of the Dallas Metro area can be an issue at times. They say you can have up to 9 days home at a time, but in most cases they'll make sure it'll never happen. 3 to 4 is average after 3 to 5 weeks out.

Allot of drivers will drive their own personal vehicle to Poly in order to take off planned Holidays etc. Dont think they will not hardball you about Holidays and extended time off, they will!

They have a few guys that work in Compliance, its all about you complying, they are so, so. Could be worse I guess.

If the trucks were good, and they had better pay and benefits, it would be a great place. Fact is, allot of company's are starting to pay better and have better benefits.

Is Poly the best? By no means! Is Poly the worse? Not hardly, you just try to get in and out as fast as you can to drop off your paperwork to get paid and pray your truck doesnt break down.

Oh, and for the one who came to Poly instead of Wal-Mart. As long as your happy man, as long as your happy! lol

After reading many posts about Poly, I'd venture to guess that they'd go bankrupt if they had to dish out breakdown pay...lol.

You don't as long as you can deal with getting paid bi weekly sometimes. If you can't get a trip turned in before 2 weeks you're doing something wrong here.

Just depends how you look at it, if they paid 100$ a day breakdown then our cpm would be 47-48 cpm. It's the end of the year that counts for me. Of course I would prefer 50cpm and breakdown pay but as of right now if you made me choose 50cpm or 48 cpm with breakdown pay I would choose the 50 cpm.

I got screwed on my backhaul out of North Carolina. It changed to picking up Christmas trees and doesn't pick up till Monday. Almost 3 days of sitting sucks, but 250$ a day for retail layover will keep me from crying to much. Oh well, hope this loaner holds up back to GP lol.
