You didn't ask speedco? You gotta ask some O/O in your area if they use a local shop or ask in the O/O section so that you can get a lot of stuff done cheaper and before you have to on the road.

There is a local shop where I live. Most of the guys that pull Wal-Mart stuff use em. Haven't had to get anything done expect for that last inspection. And I just now seen the note on it. :(

Well I can give the money to the shop or the IRS. I prefer the shop.

Called a shop and he said most people take them off to grease it and leave it off. Said just drive it will be just fine.

Well if they are that stupid, I can guarantee I'll never own a fontaine. the only warranty limitations should be drilling or welding the main frame rails.

Yea, a lot of people leave the inspection cover off. I prefer not to have a six inch hole directly below my clutch so I put them back on. If you are worried about it, it's just a rectangular piece of plate. Could make one in ten minutes with a torch. Or get a used one for probably five bucks at any tranny shop or junkyard

I bought an inspection plate for my last truck from a Freightliner dealer, with new bolts it was less than $20 IIRC. I don't like having that open either.
