When I want a lower tax bill, I just go home and stop working for a while:biggrin_25519:
I do like this being old, its very relaxing

LOL I know how taxes work. The shop didn't have the axel anyway so it's a moot point.

Today is new truck day, just waiting on insurance paperwork.

Cj, what the heck are you doing? Are you adding a third axle? Or are you adding a lift kit to the existing axle? The lift kit is little more than two small air bags, an air tank, and a couple brackets. If they are saying you need to change the axle find a different shop cause they are screwing you

I was going to have a lift axel put on the trailer while I was getting the truck setup. But the shop was dragging it's feet and pissed me off so said forget it. I'll do the lift axel when I'm at home. It's easier.

i saw one mercer setup. said it cost him $60. to do it. Welded some chains to the axle put 2 shut off values and had pins that held it up. his setup was nice but guess it would suck to have to drive up on the blocks to take put that lift axle up or down.
