TBH the rates are less this year then I've been averaging (from Oct-present). Many of the solo guys say they run for a day or two and sit for a day or two. And I don't understand the ins and outs but it seems several people are kind of "on call"
Now besides being nuts, lol. If you have the urge to run run run I'm sure you could make a call and still get on. You might like it or decide you don't like it without doing it for the whole season. Last year some of these folks ran till March. I say give it a go, it might be just what you want.

Run 650 miles for $1000 which includes minimum of 6 stops just isn't worth it. My buddy got on it and right back off. He said he rather just pull his step. Pete listen to the Vets

Mostfof the rates are in the 1.70 range. not terrible considering its all miles with no dead head. No tarping. But it's just not worth it in my opinion. You actually have to work for that 1.70. Real work sucks.

I have done the same revenue so far as I would if I had pulled UPS this fall. That's with pulling my van. I talked to a few of the teams that run coast to coast & they absolutely kill it. Then again, that's some really hard running for 6 weeks straight.
