Stuff you bought at truck stops?

    So, in my previous thread I posted about the tablet I bought.
    Any of you bought some interesting stuff at truck stops, either from other drivers, or just from your regular truck stop peddlers?

    To start, this is what I bought:

    1) 2009 MacBook Pro and 2013 iPad Air for $550
    2) 2013 MacBook Air for #425
    3) Little Martin LX1E for $200
    4) Big Baby Taylor for $200
    5) Epiphone DOT, not sure of the year, but it's old, made in 70's for $300
    6) HP EliteBook 2740p Tablet PC for $150 (this friday)
    7) Black double cut thin body Fender telecoustic for $125 (this saturday)

    This is only what comes to mind right now, I have a few more things, but I'm definitely a sucker for guitars, lol...

    Some of these are from Craigslist, some from less fortunate drivers(more about that later), some from peddlers

    There is some stories attached to some items, that I will post later.

    Bought an HP 8610 pro printer for like $50 at the swift cargo store (drivers who get into wrecks with somewhat damaged cargo)

    When they first rolled out that promotion, I got irritated by them always asking you to buy it - so I went into a dramatic speech one day to the woman, explaining how my alcoholic father's name was Phil Moore, and he beat me within inches of my life on a regular occaision - and if I EVER heard his name mentioned again I was likely to go postal.

    The pay-off is when they say "OMG - that's terrible", and I say "Nah - just pulling your leg".

    Every once in a while,I find deals on gear,the nascar jackets at Loves are really nice for $70.
    Best deal was a Freddie krugar hat for $15.
