Do you pick your loads on their lease program? I saw info on it adding you can run how long/hard you want.

No. Lease is more orless forced dispatch. You can turn it into down, but then they send you another to accept or turn down. Keep turning loads down & your FM will stop giving you good stuff.

No self serve load board. Dispatch/sales assigned loads.

You go on a list for available loads based on the order of when everyone gets empty. Turn down a load, you will go back to the bottom of the list.

I came a week early, finished day 1 at slc. Got another physical and did some computer based modules so far.

Yeah finished the computer training and did the driving test on the simulator. They don't have any trucks here so they mentioned possibly making us drive to Missouri in a rental car

I'll be at orientation on the 11th myself. Coming back into the industry after being out for about six years. I was lease op for Prime about 11 years ago. I've seen whats possible with them, that's why I'm coming back.

Finished orientation, I'm officially a prime-mate, get it? It was a breeze and actually kind of fun.

Heading out to Missouri in a rental tomorrow. It's been snowing and the local mountains have fresh powder, I'm pretty mad at myself for not having snowboarded at least one day here.

Orientation details for those who care, paid $115 a day, breakfast provided at hotel, lunch provided by prime (pizza/sandwiches) dinner voucher. Steak is good at hotel restaurant although I went to town for dinner most nights.

They shack you up in orientation, paid $52 out of my own pocket for my own room.

Driving test was done on the simulator. Everyone was laid back here, heard they're more strict in Springfield
