Where Are You Continues, Again.....

1 mile from the shop called them and took me right in when I got there. It wasn't a truckstop

I only did two days the week of Christmas. Apparently it didn't or Just covered the deductions. Gonna see about getting an advance on the next check for fuel.

 

Two so far.
At a place down off old 288. On a Ceva load. Don't yet know what it is. Two pu # wrong so far. Have a number 4 to do if time allows.

 

The Ceva dispatcher called and said he couldn't get a good pu# and put it as an attempt. Was about to leave when a forklift driver came up and said we found it. One of the numbers was on the paperwork. Got loaded and found all sorts of traffic. Got to the closes at 5 Ceva at 4:45. Didn't get out until 5:15. Have number 4 in the back seat for delivery Monday.
Got home 7pm. Pizza! Yummy!

 

Was in my company terminal yesterday for truck PM... they were pretty busy and couldn't do everything... That's ok though... cause I'll be going back there on Wednesday and they will finish...
My DSPs have been doing a great job keeping me rolling and out of nasty bad weather so far...
Will pick up on Monday about 25 miles from here... So.... I'm taking another 34 and will get delay pay...
Arrived at this small Pilot at 10 am today and.... as I expected, it was full.... I think drivers leave their trucks here for the weekend... So... I evaluated my options and circumnavigated the small lot a couple times... Spotted a OD (Old Dominion) truck that seemed to be there for just a short break... And when driver came out of the building, asked if he was fixing to leave soon... He said yes... And as soon as he left, I took his place...
Then, I unhooked from trailer and swung by the fuel bay for some fuel so would not lose my parking spot...
So now, taking my 34 right here, next to fuel bay...



Actually, this is a GREAT spot... close to the building, easy access to exit, safe, not blocking anybody and can't be blocked either... But shall see...



BTW, it's a beautiful, sunny and cold day here in MO...

So far the very hard work we did at home last Sunday still has my lower back at about 80% of well. Haven't been on the roof or anything.
Sent a text Friday asking about getting an advance on next Monday check for fuel.
Naturally I got no reply.I have enough money to work Monday and Tuesday. Need the advance to work the rest of the week.

I'm just south of Troy, Alabama on 231 at a loves. Currently getting blasted in my eyeballs by a jb hunt driver fueling his truck, with his high beams on, no less. They seem to be getting brighter as he fuels. Unfortunately, he is not. " here's your sign"! Lol

 

Pellet gun at 50 yards....with silencer!
