Scratch that. Load can't be delivered until the 27th. Picks up on the 25th. Hell I'll be at the destination on the 25th. It don't pay that well to have to sit on it for a day

Depends on overall length. If you aren't 75 foot or longer you are ok if 4 or over , red flags and roll

Does that apply on a 53 ft flatbed too ? Or can you overhang at all on a 53 without permits?

I think with those you have to have blanket permits that you get anually. We've hauled less than 4ft off the back in Florida no issues except flags and banners

Over all length becomes an issue with 53s. a day cab for example, in theory could have over hang on a 53. I could be wrong, but to my knowledge there is no law stipulating you can't offer hang just because your trailer is over 48 ft.

We had long wheel base t660 at my last company with majority 53s and almost always had over with steel joist coming outta Lake City and Hope AR and never had to get permits unless it was over 4ft. What their blanket permits were good up to length wise I can't remember. I knew we hauled 60 ft joist to Tex from AR and from FL to the whole southeast with no permits
