If it's like most places it will be them talking, telling us how great it'll be, getting our hopes up. Then 2 months from now, none of it will be going as planned. And the reason it is a conference call, that way they won't have a room full of drivers all talking at once during the presentation.

 

I miss Poly about as much as I miss getting my annual prostrate exam. I still stand by my statement that going to work at Poly was my 2nd biggest mistake.

 

Goodland KS for the night so far no luck getting appt changed. DSP said make sure you there tomorrow before 1700 when they start receiving. Said he would personally call manager tomorrow cause they where out today. Should be able to get unloaded tomorrow night said he knows them real well.

 

I finally got loaded an hour after my appointment. Have a 1930 appt there tomorrow, and I'll be there at 1920. Then off to a reserved spot at the T/A for the night.

 

Well if it doesn't pan out as one of my friends used to say "I was looking for a job when I found this one." I'd still rather be here than one of those mega companies telling you where to drive and when to stop for fuel, but I'm realistic about how far I can go here and know it's up to me to decide when to take the next step.

 

If Poly was the 2nd biggest mistake ....who came in 1st ?

 

My delivery appt is for the 28th at 2300 but yet my pickup appt was before yours it was 1200. Makes no sense
