Truck Driver Attempts U-Turn On Interstate After Getting Stuck In Traffic

Now I'm thinking the left trailer landing gear caught the soil preventing forward motion but yeah, even if he had made it, he would have been crossways on the other side taking several minutes to maneuver, even then he trailer skirts would have been all torn up too.

 

Wonder if he was drunk too! Seems to be happening more and more. Possibly, the devil made him do it.

 

So frustrating the way amateurs film things. This guy mainly filmed his own mirror. Would have been nice to see more of a side angle like if the fuel tanks bottomed out and/or the landing gear dug into the side of the swale.

But yeah, back in the olden days of trucking, all the other truckers would have jumped out to help rather than make fun of the poor guy.

 

I've been stuck On a patch of ice in Pa hooked to a trailer. Atc or not it didn't matter. It's unbelievable that a $160k semi can get stuck In the most minor conditions. Even if one axle is based in a pothole you're stuck

Back in the day morons like this weren't taught to do something so stupid. Back in the day personal accountability wrote your own checks, not the company and I'm sure old school drivers would say that one would have to pay for that mistake

Back in the "good ole days" that "driver"....err...steering wheel holder would have had more respect for his equipment and all the other people around him to not get himself in that situation to begin with!!! Welcome to truckin' 2016 style!!!
