Hopefully they don't lose any good customers over the CSA crap.

A friend of mine is leased to a company that just lost a major account because of CSA scores.

 

lol, have you actually looked at inspections on safersys? Probably not, because you would see ELD guys/gals have violations as well. Inspections results are still public, try looking them up!!!

Just to add, I've been inspected here on paper without any violations. I've been followed by a third party Mercer uses to check on drivers, & had no issues. Tell me more how it's guys on paper. Mercer drivers have 281 speeding violations, hence the unsafe driving, how many of those people are on ELD?

 

I thought Csa scoring is no longer public. They voted to change that in the last transportation bill.

Obviously elogs isn't going to keep a guy from speeding, but they make logbook violations almost non existent. Log book violations is what he was talking about. Like frt60 said, some of us know how to do a paper log, and some of us don't.

Personally, I'm amazed i haven't gotten a ticket or warning yet. I'm constantly forgetting to write something down.

 

Our current 100% inspection status has nothing to do with Mercer's CSA score and has been discussed in great length on the Mercer Facebook Group. We were randomly chosen to be a test carrier for 30 days on a new algorithm for FMCSA as this letter from Prepass I received a couple days ago states.

Almost non existent is right, but they do exhist. It's on safersys that Mercer has violations for ELDs. I didn't comment to argue for or against ELD's, I have one sitting at home waiting to be installed. I'm just pointing out ignorance, people comment without knowing, & it's available online. It's also noted on MCW that unsafe driving is a issue, he didn't mention that, he just pointed his finger at guys on paper.
