Well, I have had a horrible week... First load out the gate was swapped, now this one needs swapped but as I am in Rawlins that just aint gonna happen. Jeremy is going back and forth with Tyson right now about switching the deliveries. Corinne and Farr West.

Short timing the loads this time of year is just asking for stoopid stuff to happen.

 

Especially when the load goes through Wyoming. You can easily lose days depending on mother nature.

Delivering in OKC tonight, then swing by the yard to renew my medical, then pickup in Tulsa. Going to Stockton, but they are giving me til Friday and I'm like, I can be there on Wednesday.

 

So asked about fuel taxes and ifta, and Shannon said that if we use a 3rd party card, we are responsible for calculation and payments of IFTA.

Though the contract states we just have to send in the fuel receipts.

Not sure this is a hill I'm willing to die on...

 

I'm pretty sure they don't read their own contract sometime

Yeah the email chain indicated an argument. The response indicated that the pain in the ### of paperwork should offset any savings....

 

My dm sent an email along to settlements who forwarded it around to Shannon and I saw Daryl on it too.

 

Kind of sounds like he's just saying that to try and get you to only use their fuel card..which btw would be illegal..they cannot make you use only theirs...
