Hello everyone,
My name is Eric Salinas, a product design student from the University of Houston. I'm on this forum looking to see if yall are interested in doing a quick survey for me. It would take only a few minutes and be really helpful in my research.
I am currently designing products for semi-drivers specifically as my grandpa is a long time driver and the few times I've driven with him i have noticed he has creative solutions to space and clutter. If you also have any other opinions/thoughts on things that could be made or improved on please leave me a comment. I will try and keep yall posted as the project progresses. Thank you very much!!

Done. Odd questions, but done.
Salineri92 Thanks this. -
People often use the top bunk to store things, but it isn't very secure unless they use the net.
And that is a real pain.
The best thing you might come up with is a set of solid cabinets for the top bunk that would include the straps necessary to secure it with the provided hardware, while providing unrestricted access to the doors.Salineri92, pattyj and tech10171968 Thank this. -
And, really.
Your survey has nothing to do with the actual question you asked.
In fact, what do any of the questions on that survey answer for you?
How many meals I eat a day, if I brush my teeth or shower, if I am male or female...
Fluff questions at best.
And if that is what the U of H has to offer, well, ... -
Done. Don't understand the relevance of the questions but whatever.

HEY...HEY....HEY... Just because he shows up for class in his pajamas and asks questions like that doesn't mean he's not learning. Just think, someday he will have a $60,000 degree in liberal arts and be able to get a job at a fast food joint.tucker Thanks this.

I've used the top bunk for extra storage, its ok as long as you don't suddenly brake hard.but if possible I tried not using the bunk and leave it up.Salineri92 Thanks this.

Well I appreciate your skepticism at my survey, it was intentionally very general so I can gather demographics. My real research has come from one on one interviews from truckers in the Houston area. Also its a bachelor of science! Thank you for those that did the survey. If you want to really play a role in this now, snap a few pictures of your cab and sleeper if you have one. Don't clean it up, leave it just as it is ! I will be looking over and compiling the items in your pictures into categories to see what kinds of products you all have in-common and what kind of market opportunity there is for me to innovate on.
