It'll be a CAT that's why I say 07 or older. With the market the way it is and the laziness I get sometimes I don't think I want the payment of a glider.[/QUOTE]
Yes, new trucks kinda make you have get out there and work. I've owned two new ones. Once they got older and I had earned my money back AND the insurance cost goes down, I felt better about taking time off.
Good luck with your truck search. As others have said, oughta be some good deals soon.
Back during the dot.com bust of 2000 or so, my friend bought a brand new Freightliner classic. 500 Detroit. Condo sleeper. $69,000. It had been on the lot for a year or two.
Be patient.

Don't quote me on this but from what I've been reading I think they're $20k-$50k less than a new truck if we're talking W9 glider vs New W9 so even at $150k that's still steep. If I was to shell out over $100k I wouldn't exclude the left half of the country as I do now.
CJndaTruck Thanks this. -
Lol I didn't even answer your question properly. Monthly even with 20% I'd have to guess $2200-$2600 of course interest rate depending -

Oh yea no rushing. I still have my 98 that I'm currently driving. I don't wanna pull the plug until I can get a driver approved with Mercer and headed to orientation. Other than that we'll keep on trucking. -
Hey, I have a friend with a 2007 Freightliner Detroit autoshift (transmission has new actuators, etc).
Looks good. 70" midroof. Red with black fenders. He is talking about selling it. He has 2 trucks . He drives the other. If you wanna talk to him , I'll give you his number.
It's been used for flatbed, it may sell with the headae rack. I haven't asked him what he wants.

When they say 102" wide. That means deck, correct? Not including frame rails.
