Just curious if anyone out there drives without all the technology we have these days. Does anyone just use a road atlas and not worry about having a dash cam for accidents?
I'm asking this for a few reasons mainly because i'm not sure i will have the money to buy a good gps at first until i get some decent checks coming in. I will have at least a road atlas for sure to start.
Who drives without a GPS or dash cam?

I don't have either. Unless you count my phone. Don't use it much though.

I just look up addresses on my phone, haven't bought a gps and don't plan on it. I do have an atlas that I use occasionally.

Well an Atlas doesn't give you street turn by turn so if you're an OTR guy not using a GPS then you will need state, county, city maps to find those cross streets. (Who carries all that for 48 states??) That's always fun but we just memorize the highway routes and then Google for the local route
White_Knuckle_Newbie and bamajim Thank this.
