Yea most of the seasoned guys I've met here speak down on coordinators an praise the agents. Lol.
I will admit my coordinator isn't the go getter type. An as much as I wanna get rid of her It would probably break my heart to do it becuase she's the nicest girl you could ever meet. I'm aggressive when it comes to freight so I would prefer my coordinator be the same.

I loved my 1st coordinator so I won't speak down on them, I think the right one is a great asset. When I go back out I'm going back to the coordinator I had since 2003 which is my wife, she'll be watching for me while I drive, she's hands down the best one I've ever worked with so I might as well work with her again.

Lol my wife handled all of my logistics an loads as an independent so I may as well use her as my coordinator now.

No he left Mercer, and he was banned on here for life, for IMO doing absolutely nothing wrong. We still stay in touch and he's doing quite well where he's at. He got a email from TTR saying he wasn't a good fit for TTR after he had a disagreement with one of the cool kids on here.

I know the frustration of trying to string loads together because of the lag time from the initial click. They do come and go quickly. After a year and a half here my only complaint, or just aggravation is that it is not company freight. The freight goes through multiple people and has to be called on to find out if the load is still available. If all loads were "live" on our board, meaning click it and it's yours, you could string things together instantly. The system is what it is and mercer is successful so it's proven out, but selfishly I wish it was click and go.

In todays age, there is no such thing as company freight except for a few small shippers that ship only a couple loads a month. Every one else uses multiple carriers. Whichever carrier confirms they have a truck for the load first, gets it.

See that's just the thing! If we are gonna pretty much be subject to "what if" loads then why not just allow the contractor to use every resource possible to book loads?
I mean it's pretty much the same as operating as a independent carrier but you don't have the luxury of surfing thru different boards to string loads together.
