Because he wants to go 62 that's why...who are you to dictate their speed?

I think the better rhetorical question is 'who are they to think they are entitled to break the speed limit law/?'

Why should I have to slow down from the speed limit again? OH it is the 'courteous' thing to do for lawbreakers?

You accepting and driving a truck that can't do the speed limit is the nuisance and road hazard. You should quit and find a real company that trusts you to drive the speed limit.I think it's irresponsible to even put that truck on the road.

You don't wear a badge. It's not your job to enforce the law...just drive the truck.

i agree, that's what i'm tryin to do is drive my truck at my speed. I just don't want someone saying I'm in the wrong becuase I didn't slow down for them when they couldn't pass me clean on their own in their gutless chariot.

Guess that thinking (pass quick fast in a hurry) worked when everyone could choose their own speeds and measured their manhood by how much power third trucks had but often we are all governed around similar speeds so that goes out the window.

And often it's more like the speed limit is 70 and we are all going 62-68 mph and holding up other traffic which can and will go faster.

But like I said, we can disagree.

Actually it's rather humourus to think of truckers as the bastion of the law abiding... LOL ... :)

Now that right there is totally ridiculous! Not only did he nearly cause an accident with you but what if there were highway workers nearby? That's just total unprofessionalism.

Highway workers are worth double points.
