What's not ok is you impeding traffic...

So I can't blame the other driver...

I'm sure at some point in time everyone has had someone in front of them driving terribly slow and it can get annoying quickly especially when the conditions aren't bad...

You Top Gun trained drivers need to learn to park it, at 45 mph your not getting to far, may as well park it and take a nap...

A stupid professional (you) and a stupid azzhat (jct) does not make you in the right.

As a professional it is our job to compensate for the idiots. JCT was an idiot but you know darn well that everyone has a brain fart every now and again.

I've been in that exact situation many times and each time I say I'm going to run that azzhat into to cones....but alas, I never do. I simply back out because I was WATCHING MY MIRRORS and anticipated the azzhats brain fart because I try to be the consummate professional.

See the situation unfolding and react like a pro and not a do gooder kindergartner squealing on all your classmates.

A professional driver does not race up the left lane after passing several signs saying Left Lane Closed Ahead trying to pass the pack in work zone speed limited to 60 miles per hour.

A professional driver does not aggressively bully and muscle his truck into position to force other drivers to use emergency evasive action.[/QUOTE]

But you can control what goes on, if you don't want JCT to pass, speed up a little and block him, OR slow down and let him pass.
You did nothing until the last second and had to hard brake to let him in.
Again, Look 5 to 8 seconds into the future,
You control the space around you,

So I re watch the video.

Everybody all stack up nicely on the right lane then boom jct pops up. Realize lane end soon and slow down but so did scottie.

Jct decide to risk it and gun it. He had his flasher on when he pass by, maybe he was sorry for what he did and didn't realize it. Do you have a cb @scottied67 ?

I'm sure the world will live on without 5 flatten orange Schneider eggs.

I never said JCT was professional. But scottie neither are you.Far as JCT forcing you to use evasive action,if you would have let him in when you seen him speeding up to pass you dont you think action could have been prevented? No matter who's at fault, more times then not the person that's not driving like some crazy person has to be the one to give the other person the right of way.

And if you are in rush hour traffic are you all about "going the speed limit and obeying posted signs"??? Similar situation... A secondary driver(s) is/are having an impact on you wishing to "drive the legally posted speed" regardless of those around you.
