Those are rare. Ive only did a couple over the years.
-
Ive done that at a few places in jersey and la. Sure wouldt call it easy. Didnt do it half as pretty as that guy.
-
He's driving a single screw day cab.
You can do it though; I had one worse than that and did it in a sleeper with 48' reefer in NYC at some Chinese food supply warehouse.
You're pulling tankers, so it will be pretty easy for you.hunted, sevenmph, GolfPro and 1 other person Thank this. -
Won't be able to do that my first try. Maybe my 6th I'll get it.
-
I wouldn't call it easy but in a day cab, sight side , with a spotter definitely not the hardest
Chinatown Thanks this. -
I can't wait to see how many super truckers on here will say they could do it better.
...now if only the FedEx guys could master driving down the highway half as well as they can backup, lolBlackshack46, misterG, Toomanybikes and 3 others Thank this. -
When you back into tight places over 5+ times a day you really get to know how to maneuver your trailer. Yes the single screw makes it easier but im sure he could do that in a twin too. I work for firto lay and some times we have 14 stops wal-marts are super easy but some King soopers (Krogers) are really tight.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
I have done those, not in one shot as it's usually been the first time at that customer.
Not to take anything away from the driver in the video but he's probably backed in there many times before.
But he sure makes it look easy. -
I don't see what's so hard about this. You ever been to pilot at 1 am? I am not the greatest backer, but I've seen people master tighter than that. The only problem with this is lightning, it would be hard to see the trailer once it's inside.
FerrissWheel, Toomanybikes and Dumdriver Thank this.
