My goodness people ain't nobody anywhere?

 

you been mia for over a week

 

I check in every morning. Just don't post much if I got nothing good to say.

 

Urbandale IA to unload then picking up and on my way to Fargo to drop on the yard. Then off to OH

 

I never saw Fargo when I was OTR. Never got farther west than Wisconsin up north. Never got into Colorado. New Mexico, Arizona and California sure. And all
Freaking over Northeast!

 

I delivered at this place last Monday in soaked wet Shreveport, LA...
I-20 was shut down, had to take I-220 as detour... then, couldn't turn right to my street due to flooding... had to find a place to turn around and go back and enter my street from opposite direction...




Arrived there in the midst of freakin heavy rain...



Got soak'n'wet opening trailer doors... and stayed wet for quite some time...

After that, ran to MS for reload... went thru a lot of rain and saw some flooding areas...





There was more rain in MS and AR... Got soak'n'wet again in MS...
Then headed to IN and weather got a little better...
Did a drop and hook in north IN, then headed to sunny and warm FL...
Now I'm in FL doing a reset before delivery... Not very sunny but at least it's dry and really warm...

How have you been Dave? Looking for a new job? How is your family doing?

 

Found it.

 

Family is fine considering. Have been getting 5 emails a day from Job sites. OTR is 95% of what's offered. IF I could get a decent car I would probably do Uber.

 

I remember someone who had CDL but due to some incidents, he was fired... He still wanted to drive but not a big truck and not OTR any more... got a job driving a shuttle van with elderly folks... can't remember the details or what was exactly... But there are all kinds of driving jobs out there...
