Rock A Bye Baby

Just last night I wanted to ask any of you what you're listening to. I drive all night and I know every rock song ever conceived, coast to coast am is just hard to listen to regularly, the comedy channels are perverse and not funny to me, and if I hear another thing about elections, I might snap.
I can still tolerate Hair Nation and 80's on 8 (Sirius xm) once or twice a week. Wish Sirius xm had a Michael Savage show or conspiracy theory channel.

 

I ran graveyard shift for 2 1/2 years; ever listen to HLN (yes, the news channel) at nights? They have the Forensic Files on till like 4am. A cop tv show where crimes are solved using forensics. Ya, a tv show on radio, but one can picture the stuff in one's mind. Kept my brain 'awake' many a night.

 

I cannot stand doing graveyard hours. 2½ years of graveyard? No way. And for same pay...double No Way!

 

Lol. How about 18 of the past 20 years ?! When i was OTR, it was a mix of day/night, but the night is my favorite. Now I am home in the daytime. Makes fishing better, cruising my bike better, no alarm clock....but wow, do i see some weird stuff in the cities and towns in the wee hours !!!

We used to play Comfortably Numb in the band - I'm with you on that one.

Drummers typically shouldn't fall asleep during songs, but that one will do it to ya.

I'm a big fan of speed thrash gospel.

 

Country music In general makes me want to fall asleep all the time.

 

Or open the door and exit the truck at cruising speed, especially any of this newer garbage

 

If I hear Green Day, I vomit then change over to something more tolerable, like John Tesh.
