I wonder if any of this bs gets put on DAC report?

 

I doubt it. Even if it did you could fight it or explain the situation. I haven't heard back on my so called incidents either and it's been 2 weeks now.

 

So you pretty much loose your bonus then? That's interesting. Ive been getting my bonus since I've started working for company and if Im at fault I'd admit to it but flat tire/dead batteries is not equipment abuse.
Who's your dispatch? Im gonna call mine and figure it out, Im at home so if they dont want to fix it they can find someone else to drive their truck and not do any "equipment abuse"
Maybe Mr. Williams can drive it, he has CDL lol

 

It looks to me like yes you lose the bonus because of it. I would call safety and talk too them about it.

 

I've got a "driver abuse" list as long as your left leg as well as an unresolved "forward hit object" on my safety jacket. I still get my safety bonus every quarter.

The guy who runs the recert classes explained one time that it's nothing to get worked up about... more like "driver reported damaged equipment".

He's been trying to get them to change the wording so drivers will quit blowing a gasket every time he hands out their safety report.

 

The one issue I have with it, is I feel like they are too into computer programs and getting away from trucking. Too many things needed too do to fuel in a place you want, or take a route that makes more sense mileage wise and time wise.

 

Nothing to be worked up about except you lose safety bonus and if you don't take care of it right there and then you'll have a hard time backtracking it.

 

Ummm... did you miss the part where I said I still get my safety bonus every quarter?
