I booked six months in advance and barely got a room for four nights.

Best thing is to book as soon as date for 2017 show is announced. You can always cancel or modify.

 

I ended up with 6 nights. I dropped my trailer at the yard and bobtail end over here. Not a great hotel but I got the nights I needed. When do you get here? The cookout is tomorrow afternoon. I didn't stick around the yard long enough to get any more info. I wanted to get to my room and get clean. It took 2 hours just to drop my trailer and use the restroom. Everyone wanted to talk about the truck and take pictures of B.O.B. (Bag Of Bones). But I guess that's what shows are for.

 

I'm loading out of louisville on Friday for monday del in va, so I might swing by. I'm just not sure where I'd park with a loaded trailer. I know last year they stacked the empties behind the wall and in the inspection yard, and the lounge was bobtail only, but is the main lot open to loads?

 

Loads are suppose to be in that main yard? Don't ask me I'm new. As of now all the trailers are not in the lounge area. Double triple parking there and this afternoon lots of bobtail parking too. Oh and I didn't stick around but as always they where cooking it up with several faces I know but names I never remember.

 

I forgot how much mercer spoils us. Venders, food and band at the yard today. I got more free stuff then I have room in my truck and the show hasn't even started yet. I knew Mercer went all out but man. I need to hang out here more than once a year.

 

What is the pros and cons of having a trailer with a built in headboard? Do many guys at Mercer have them? Thanks

 

I have seen 1 or 2. Then con would be a few loads won't be able to be loaded. But that's the pros and cons with any type of thing.

 

If any young guys are interested in Mercer I talked to a recruiter the other day about requirements for leasing on if you're under 25 years old.
Just a perfect, and she emphasized "perfect", MVR & DAC all the way back to when you got your very first license.

I told her that wouldn't be a problem for me and that I was just looking ahead a year or two and wanted to check if it was actually a possibility, she said to call whenever I was ready.

I gotta say, nicest recruiter I've spoke with. I wish I could remember her name.
