Say, I've dropped my last load and I am clear to drive home. How would I electronically log that? Thanks

Log the on-duty not driving for the unload, back to line 3 for the drive home, then line 1 for the home-time

If my home time is long enough I might take out the truck to run errands, but I'll make sure I have time for a 34 first.

Sign out of system . Save you in the long run. Prevents you from messing with your restart. And also in the future prevents the shop from from messing with your hours. As they fix your truck.

I am a company driver and they limit OD Driving to a half hour, for normal company drivers. I fall under a different category since I do not have a terminal, I park at home every night.
I am no scholar on all DOT regs, is there a rule limiting off duty driving on a 34? If one is unencumbered by company regulations...

Yep when I was a company driver. I learned the hard way. Keep in mind the company still has gps on that truck. So I would not drive it ounce parked. But helps you if you need to move it a short distance
