Mercer reports to FMCSA on a MCS-150 what their fleet size is, that's the number I used, like it or not, that's what they reported! I would assume the info the supplied the federal government is pretty accurate. Argue with me all you want & call whoever you want, I got my info from a pretty reliable source as well, it wasn't thought up.

Last time I checked 2600 is higher than 2470, that would mean at one point in time there was growth. If you actually took the time to read what was written rather than commenting cause you saw my name, you would know exactly how I got to the numbers I got to at that time, and more importantly why I put them here! I put them on here to prove to people like you, that perhaps people were struggling due to the influx of trucks, not because they didn't get the system. If you have a influx of trucks, without a influx of freight, you have less freight for the trucks you have.

And again I will say the biggest factor is the guy who looks back at you in the mirror

So less than 5 percent growth in fleet size caused everyone to be sitting with no load choices. Is that really the arguement here?

We can end all the man in the mirror, and working the system garbage right here. Are you up for the challenge? Lets get on the board and pick a load, then after you pick the load, I'll match to it, I bet your number goes up. Would that be the man in the mirror or just your position making your number go up? It doesn't matter how much you think you control this system, your only as good as your next position number. You can commit to as much garbage as you want to stay running, but if I'm ahead of you, i'll get the garbage before you.
Further, you don't take loads into FL if your in control. I know you tried to spin that one by saying the rate justified it, but the reality is, your position number lead you there, your position number got you out, especially out at $1.88. Do I actually think those 11 other trucks passed on that $1.88, do I think you worked the board to get it, nope I don't, I think you lined up with it. -
