Better make it a pinstriped tarp -- it's slimming...

Ditto on the US 60 bridge in KY....its hard enough going across it being legal.

Plus you want to come into Baltimore from the topside to make it easier on you......Just do 44 to 70e.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

You could. Your mirrors are wider than the load, so the od part won't be a factor, unless some idiot at the state government office in either Illinois or Missouri has put out a blanket no permit loads on that bridge. You could also cross into tn at i-155 and run 412 to i-40 as suggested above, but man that seems like a long way around just to save a few bucks on permits.

The KY permit is $65, plus KY makes Blair nervous, something about banjo music.

He should try the Jellico TN welcome center some time. You don't get banjos and folk music on outdoor speakers at any of the KY rest areas.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Yea @blairandgretchen this tarping after dark stuff is for the birds. I think we need to have a talk with our "dispatchers" when we book these loads

Or teach them this strategy . . .

    "Ok - so that's the linehaul "
    "Yup"
    "And it needs tarped, right?"
    "Yup".
"Ok -,can you cut $250 out of the linehaul for tarp and send it on over then?"
"Ummm, we can only do $50 for tarp"
    "CLICK"

They think I'm going to tarp this. I strap and go only going 40 miles to be unloaded and be put on the ground at an galvanizing plant. I've hauled this load four or five times. If they ever asked I'd ask them which rust I put on it since
the whole thing is rusty to start with.
