dhkwanderer, Kamkor and MachoCyclone Thank this.

I see @Bigrigger77 doing well here.
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
Hey Steel, I have to ask, do you end up swapping a lot of loads due to speed? Do you run your full 11 to make up the distance difference?
-
Loads are calculated at 53 mph (provided shippers don't screw that up). Since I average 55-58 mph, I get there when I'm supposed to. There is no room for error on my part. A lot of 10 hour breaks and go.
One of the things I'm looking forward to in the new truck is being able to run ahead.
600 miles in a shift is all JCT is gonna get out of me. -
Just checked road conditions in Wyoming. 80 is closed from Cheyenne to Laramie til 11am. Looks the other driver I was traveling with yesterday is stuck til they open it back up.
That's what happens when you don't run 80 while it's open and with hours left to drive. Especially with bad weather on the way.drvrtech77 and Steel Tiger Thank this. -
Awrighty then...coming soon to a JCT truck near you
JTT and Steel Tiger Thank this. -

Makes backing a PITA though
