@TruckerPete1990 i wouldn't worry about trying to smoke tarp it unless your in the rainy area.

So I get an oil change at speedco the other day. My fuel mileage drops a full MPG+. I look at the paperwork and realize they put the wrong oil in. Grrr. I stop to get it swapped out only to find out that my oil cap is missing too. Needless to say I think I'm done with speedco.

We used to have to put an X strap on the front but the boys were not tightening the straps and they would come loose and next thing you know they are in the drive train or breaking off air line hoses. We do however put a 2" strap close to the front edge of the insulation for a total of 3 straps on the first bundle. I have had that plastic detach and stream down the highway with the load. Don't look too good but I have never had any refused.

I don't know....Looking at your picture If you had the time to do it, I would put a smoke or padding tarp on that top edge under your straps. It will prevent any further damage to the insulation and keep them from saying anything about it. But I worry about things like that all the time.

ok guys i have a question. in the past year and a half i bushed the fender of a truck in truck stop backing in. rubbed some paint DID not break the fiberglass.
and had a roll back witch hit a car but did not damage it or my trailer. i have police reports for both.
no tickets or warnings on ether one.
would this prevent me from leasing on to mercer?
the truck stop was the first time i backed a spreed no one told me they walk more then a tandem lol
and the roll back was i relaxed my foot on the brake sitting on a off ramp. lesson learned on that one. too. im in the prosses of buying a truck and trailer and would like to try out for mercer but dont want to waist there time or mine if these two things are a no go there.
thanks in advance. i love reading all the good things you all say on here.

Just tell them everything without trying to make it sound like you did NOTHING wrong (honesty goes a long way). I reported a ton of things. Come to find out 90% didn't even show up. It the honesty that we all need out here. If you make a mistake be a man (or woman) and fess up. Try and lie about it and you will never hear from anyone.
