even tho there miner i was worry that mercer would say there a no go. so i will Give them a call andsee whats up.

Wow, it sounds like I'm a real bad boy on insulation loads. The only "X" I ever put on a load of insulation was on the back, and that is only because it wasn't completely on the deck. I also have only ever used 2 straps on the front bundle, but I put the first strap as close to the nose as I can get it. I've never had a problem or anyone tell me to do it any other way. Thanks for the info, guess I need to strap them better in the future.

@CJndaTruck I don't blame you, I would be done with Speedco if they messed me up like that as well. Definitely if they weren't willing to fix their mistake. That being said, we are all human and make mistakes, so if they bought me a new oil cap and flushed the oil and replaced it for free I might be willing to stick with them just because I know they are going to guarantee their work. Then again, we all know I can hold a grudge.... *coughTAcough*

Not sure if the truck is fixed now or not. It seemed to be, none of the check engine lights are on. I didn't think it used much DEF last night in the 200 miles I drove to test it. However, today, I filled up in Matthews, MO before crossing into IL and it used an 1/8 of a tank the last 200 miles of my trip today. That being said, it normally comes off of F pretty quick. I guess we shall see in the next week or so.

What oil did they put in versus what you wanted?

I'm still not sure what is best oil for my isx.

 

They put 15w40 in. Way to heavy for a new engine. I had asked for 10. Anyway I decided to go synthetic now.

 

Chevron Delo 400, it has a lot of zinc and ISX loves zinc. Cuts down on wear.

 

the app and website went down sometime around 8 last night. A friend and I were looking at it while I was trying to help him out, he thought he was doing fine because of the whole Mercer only takes 40% thing, until he got a phone call saying he owed like $6500 (never really paid attention to his settlements). I think I helped him out a good bit before it went down, at least showing him the difference in how I choose loads and how he does. Anyway, I think we discovered the problems and they were all easy fixes, just little things that added up to a big problem. Hopefully, he makes the adjustments and does much better. He isn't unhappy here, I just want to make sure it stays that way.

So I hear with the new app version we can get fuel advances if you need them when you report loaded. I don't use advances but I think that would be a cool addition.

 

I am stuck in the past. I take everything allowed upfront. Its that much less of my money someone else has. Habit from the old days.

 

Maybe that is. Something to do with their truck. situation, maybe.
