I checked in more than an hour early so they took down my number and ran me off. Parked down the street that @radioshark mentioned. Kinda wondered, on the way to the cul-de-sac the signs say no parking any time, on the way back out they say "parking this side only". It is now 30 minutes past my appointment and no call yet. This week isn't starting out good at all.

And it is quiet here, except for the F-18's doing touch-n-go's over my head.

My apologies, all I could see was a side view in my mirror as it went between the gap in the tree line behind me and the unmistakable sound of a military jet engine, and I could tell it wasn't an F-16 because you could kinda see a glimpse of a twin tail .

And I would never confuse you with "the prick"...excuse me "THE prick" :D

What I don't get...I had to pre-cool, but backed between 2 Werner dry vans. Both temp control and non-temp control off the same dock.

I don't understand either, you are hauling tortilla chips and different sized flower tortillas. If you get go in an sign your bills the have a big bin of discarded chips and tortillas, if you can find anyway with a good date on them they will let you have them, did to me anyways.

And the warehouse is not refrigerated at all.

So... I finally had some GOOD luck! Woot!!!! SSB, I haven't had your saga over the last year, but it's been close. Health issues, family stuff, job issues, you name it.

Anyway, I get to Nampa, ID Monday AM at 0-dark-30. delivery is is in Portland at 0400 Tues. Problem is, if I'm parked more than 12 miles away, I'm driving in my 10-hour break. OR, I can show up on time, but I'll be over my 11 before I can get home, 180 miles away, which means $130 an hour for movers to pack my stuff. OR, I can deliver an hour late and get home in time to pack and get something approaching 1/2 a night's sleep before the movers get there.

I decided to go with a late delivery and screw it, as parking after 5pm in portland is...um, nope. and FYI Mcclane's in Tulatin DOSE NOT allow overnight parking. Talked to Matt about it, he was fine with that plan and had a backup if they made me come back the next day. -Go Matt.

Get there late, no fuss, no muss, no "you're late" crap. Very nice people. Get unloaded in 45 minutes, get home, check my voicemail and it's the movers. They want to show up a day late, which as it works out, means I get a night's sleep, have all day tomorrow to pack.

The side streets around Mcclane's, for future reference are parkable. It's pretty much all warehouses and not nearly as narrow streets as it looked on google.
