Despite the law I'm quite sure practicality will reign supreme if for example you must drive over 14 hours. I'm sure if you are sitting in stopped traffic and you cannot get to a safe haven you can't simply tell an officer that you must sit still and block the interstate until your break is up. They would tell you to stop at the nearest safe haven even if over hours rather than have you block the road for 10 hours.
Wow what do you do in this situation?

Yes, just as soon as you go past your limit 25 DOT goons will jump out of their cars and arrest you and seize your truck. I wrote the above a bit tongue in cheek. But I'm serious in one regard. While it is illegal to bust your hours it can't be avoided 100% of the time. When you find yourself in this situation get stopped in the nearest safe place and take your break. Then contact your safety dept and explain what happened. Just don't do this every other day.

That's pretty powerful language. Is a blown tire an emergency? Accident? Extreme icing? Load shift? Broken radiator hose? -
Chasing andrew jackdon someone stole your video

"Andrew jacksons" videos are stupid. Kid is full of assumptions worked for knight talks down on swift when hes got 5 months experience himself. Pure joke.

Yeah, but for those that have live or other hot loads, being late can be a pretty big economic issue. If a blowout is an emergency, it would be darn convenient to just log "emergency" and finish the day.
