I never said you were not polite. Nor was I trying to be a smart rear. But I can see how you would take it that way. As mentioned Mercer is a flat company and sometimes even steps have a hard time. I can't tell you what to buy or how to run. All I can do is warn you about doing something that I believe MIGHT be a mistake. Mercer is not a conestoga company. They have a FEW customers that want or will even use them. And even though I am here in GA having my flat converted only 1 agent in this area even has a customer that sometimes uses one. I'm looking at deadheading 800 miles to get to one of our customers that use them. So admittedly I am sounding funny telling you not to get the conestoga, but I am doing so not to be a smart rear but to try and save you from making a mistake. It's up to you if you listen or not. I wish you the best either way. And if you do come to Mercer I am more then willing to share any info I may have with you.

Razor I was saying between a step or a conastoga, both 53'. Looks like from the recruiters they say the best set up is a step, I don't know, just trying to get the info you guys are giving that is very important to my decision. I know in my heart probably since I already have a reefer, is to lease to LS and see how it goes then if that doesn't work get a flat or step, I just hate and don't want to go to LS if you know what I mean, I truly think Mercer and their employees are top notch, including you all too, LS seems so conceded with the start process like it would be an honor if they approved me to be a o/o, something doesn't fill right to me with that kind of situation, then I would hate to have to jump to Mercer if the loads didn't work out on they're load board, I'm afraid it is stuff the vets want touch because it's too cheap.

. You could start with a flat. It's a walk away lease. Your only going to be out securement equipment.

Ok, I will bring what I can from my dad's old equipment and plan on getting the rest at Mercer. He may even let me buy his 3 door headache box off him.

So Saturday I take my truck to the truck wash. Somehow one of the guys manages to knock a ladder over into the side of my truck. Needless to say it put a nice big dent in my sleeper. So after dropping my trailer off at the trailer shop I had to drop my truck off at the body shop. Guess I can pretty much write this week off. :-/
