Don't put a lot in Chads teleconferences. The first one he presented I invisioned him prancing around in his tightly whities while thumping on his chest demanding respect. After, I gently reminded him that drivers are out there earning it daily, and how did he earned it. He refused to share how he was qualified to lead. Hmmm...

 

From speaking with a o/o we ran cali for awhile and just didn't get the rates and customers we wanted, as a Californian I'd love to go there, but I understand why we don't.

As for your comment, have you met Chad in person? The visual of him prancing around in dispatch, well wow, just wow...

Ya, met numerous times. Always wondered about the casual T-shirt and surf short presentation. I was taught to dress for success and respect. Felt our introduction was synonymous with work at a hot dog stand.

Y'all would be best served in questioning why corporate employee's are granted Holiday, Vacation, Personal, and "whatever" days while you s!ave. Please ask your operations manager. Are you not worthy?

 

Heck, Atlanta to MN is a nice run, as long as they don't add two days to the schedule. Even Atlanta to Chicago isn't bad. 850 or so as I recall.

Like I said, I'm not bashing Magnum. I like it here. But there are issues with the way we get dispatched that SCREAM too few people doing too many things on the back end.
I've been upper management for a slightly smaller company and I recognize the symptoms.

But I'm looking forward to one if the beautiful drives in the country this time of year.

And, I'm hopeful. Unlike the other place I drove, someone in Chad's seat actually seems to listen.

 

I'm sitting here at Michaels Foods and I ain't real happy.
When I got here they changed my load on me. Now I have 2 drops, one in Tn and one in NC.
That's not the issue though.
I had home time scheduled for Thursday. Now I'm going to be a day late because I have a drop in Tn on Thursday and the second in NC on Friday.
Last home time I had they let it slip through the cracks. By the time I got to Suffolk VA I was out of hours and couldn't make it home so again I was a day late.
I don't ask for anything but to get home when I ask to.
Now I'm going to miss my Dr. Appt again.
And get home late.
Again.
This is the third time I've had this happen. I put in well before the 10 days and yet here I am getting home late.
Again.
I stay out a minimum of 3 weeks and I'm ready to go home.
Not too impressed with this ####.
