That may have been company policy, but the law was always (since it came out in '13? anyway) you just have to take the break before you continue driving. DOT can't actually regulate anything but your drive time. You can work 24/7/365 and they can't say a thing to you unless you drive.

 

That make sense to me otherwise they could give you a ticket or violation for being on duty after a 14 hour day

 

Does anyone have straps from hauling vehicles? Like the ones used to haul sprinter vans out of Laredo. If anyone does, I would be more than willing to take them off your hands.

Most trick and trailer dealers have them. Along with many truck parts store. Give your local parts guy a call if he doesn't have them he can get them.

The main reason I was asking everyone on here is the tire straps that come off those vans are totally different then ur normal straps for tires. Plus, you can't beat the price that they sell them to Mercer drivers. I have asked & everyone wants over $100/set. That's ridiculous!!
