Btw, even though I advocate leaving without notice, I also believe in turning in the truck wherever specified by the company. That is the easiest way to avoid an abandonment claim. -
Two weeks sounds nice, but what'll be their reason to not make you hate your life for that time? Or even give you any loads. Cover your ###. Take home time at the closest OC and walk in and hand in your keys. You won't have left on bad terms, call your dbl and explain that you're turning in your keys and that it's been a good time but time for something different.

I've heard horror stories about people getting screwed over, but I've never experienced it.
*I* always give 2 weeks notice and I've never had an issue. I too don't like burning bridges. I've never left a company because hated them. It's always simply been a business decision; I was able to better myself. I've generally liked all of the companies I've worked for. -

Document everything. Take videos of things. Bigger companies won't do anything to your dac. If Schneider screws with yours and you catch them in the act.. Well. You won't need to drive a truck anymore.

Seems like it might be a good idea to video oneself turning the truck in and handing the keys to maintenance. Then if they falsify your DAC, you're going to get paid.
It's a #### shame we have to take such measures.Friday Thanks this. -
I plan to have offer in hand before announcing I am leaving. Schneider is use to first year drivers leaving. Heck I have seen enough of them do it
Friday Thanks this.
